Doctor Who released it’s latest trainer for the much anticipated 60th Anniversary Specials, ahead of Strictly Come Dancing’s first live show on Saturday.
And viewers have branded the new footage ‘insane’ as Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) makes her dramatic return to the franchise alongside Kate Lethbridge-Stewart (Jemma Redgrave).
And viewers were left ‘heartbroken’ when The Doctor (David Tennant) revealed he ‘may not be able to save’ his lovable companion, meaning Donna could be killed off in the upcoming episodes.
The brand new trailer also confirmed Neil Patrick-Harris’ villain is none other than The Doctor’s former foe The Toymaker, last seen on the show in 1966.
Fans marvelled at the incredible special effects – after BBC signed a big money deal with Disney Plus – as the earth’s military organisation UNIT now based in a Avengers style tower in the heart of London.
