Moment Dodge Charger races a Ford Mustang on Florida highway but ends up spiraling out of control and falling into a ditch

Wild video has emerged showing a Dodge Charger sports car racing a Ford Mustang on a rural Florida highway before one of the vehicles spirals out of control and into a ditch.
A video shared on social media by South Florida car fanatic page @thecrew-stangs last Tuesday shows the dramatic moment a Dodge Destroyer Grey Charger Hellcat faces off with a Ford Mustang Shelby Grabber Lime GT500.
The clip shows the two cars driving side-by-side, their engines growling as they kick into gear.

The Charger’s tires spiraled out of control and it fell onto the right side of the road into a ditch
Suddenly the bright green Ford car surges forward. When the Dodge Charger tries to accelerate it ends up swaying side-to-side as its tires spiral out of control.
The Charger is seen frantically flashing its brake lights when it crosses onto the right shoulder of the road, but to no avail.
The car careens off the road and smashes into a traffic sign, before it spins a few times and falls into a ditch.
Thankfully the Dodge vehicle did not flip over.

Dodge Hellcat muscle cars have gotten into a slew of accidents and issues with police for speeding. On April 19 in Michigan a 2016 black Dodge Challenger Hellcat was pulled over for speeding down a highway at 180mph in a 70mph lane, according to The Drive.
Last month another similar muscle car race unfolded in Brandywine, Maryland where three sports vehicles revved their engines at each other to encourage the race at a traffic light.

When the black Mustang tried to catch up, the driver lost control of the vehicle, skidded across two lanes and crashed into a highway barrier
But when the traffic light changed, the black car locked up, leaving the other red and white sports cars speeding down the road.
