‘Trump sent congressional offices a 11×14 Christmas ‘card,’ L. Sheehan, a staffer for Senator Tom Udall, a New Mexico Democrat. ‘He’s trying to Make Christmas Yuge Again?’

‘Yuge’ is how some believe native New Yorkers, like the President, pronounce the word ‘huge,’ a term Trump employs frequently to describe many of his projects and initiatives.

US Congressman Luis Guitierrez (D-IL) uploaded a video to Instagram on Thursday mocking the President’s card while criticizing recently passed tax reform legislation Democrats have billed as a gift to corporations and the wealthy.

‘The only thing bigger than Trump’s Christmas card are the TAX breaks we gave billionaires today,’ Guitierrez is head telling a staffer before chucking the card into the trash.

Meanwhile, Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) compared Trump’s White House card with a standard yuletide missive via Snapchat.

‘This is the size of a typical holiday card,’ Swalwell wrote in a caption of a photo showing a normal card along with the President’s gift writing this ‘is the size of Donald Trump’s.’

Swalwell also shared a picture of Trump and the first lady’s signature on the inside of the card, positing that the commander-in-chief ‘definitely signed his wife’s name.’

The office of the first lady nor the White House responded to a request for comment concerning Swalwell’s suggestion.

According to Newsweek citing an official statement from the Office of the First Lady, The White House has been adorned with 12,000 ornaments and strung up with 180,000 feet of lights, while the kitchen has baked 31,000 cookies.

The extravagant display appears to be quite a departure from Melania Trump’s predecessor, Michelle Obama.

Obama previously rooted her iconic vegetable garden on the South Lawn, which was a reflection of the family’s health campaign, Let’s Move, for schools – which the Trumps have mostly done away with.

As for Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, his White House cards were stylized with a variety of decorations, including an American eagle seal, a portrait of a snow-dusted White House, and various images of his family.

The Obama White House’s first card back in 2009 featured an American eagle seal in gold. Instead of Merry Christmas, however, the statement ‘Season’s Greetings’ was embolden on the front.
