Vanessa filed to divorce Trump Jr in March last year after 13 years of marriage. The pair have five children and are still finalizing their settlement.
Guilfoyle, who was working at Fox News when she began dating Trump but quit to join him on the campaign trail, was pictured wrapped up warm against the cold.
She was partially hidden underneath a large woolen bobble hat, paired with a coat which had a large fur hood.
After saying goodbye to the children, the pair strolled inside her apartment.
It is not known exactly where the couple spent their weekend, but Don Jr dedicated at least some of his time to hitting out at his father’s critics on Twitter.
Among the targets were the Washington Post and CNN – two of the President’s favorite punching bags – along with Senator Dianne Feinstein.

Feinstein had tweeted about half of America’s undocumented migrants enter the country legally by plane but overstay their visas, arguing that a wall won’t work.
That led Don Jr to argue that half come over the border, and accused Feinstein of proving his point for him.
One subject Donald Jr did not discuss online at the weekend was Russia, amid reports that he could soon by subpoenaed by Muller’s investigation.
Pressure mounted last week as Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who met with Donald Jr in Trump Tower in 2016 to discuss acquiring dirt on Hillary Clinton, was indicted by Mueller’s team.
On Tuesday it was also revealed former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is accused of slipping Trump campaign secrets to a ‘Kremlin spy’.

Ex-spy Victor Boyarkin also said he ‘pressured Manafort to pay back $19million in debt he owed to an Russian oligarch while he was in charge of Trump’s campaign’.
The Trump family, however, spent the week lobbying for the president’s border wall, and blaming democrats for not giving him the $5.6billion he is asking for to fund it.
The shutdown is currently the longest in America political history, having entered its third week with no end in sight.
Hundreds of thousands of American workers have either been furloughed or are working without pay, as Trump refuses to back down on his campaign pledge.
