Donald Trump Jr looked smug as he exited the court house after being dismissed from jury duty after just one day.
The 40-year-old had a smirk on his face after he walked out of the Manhattan courthouse on Wednesday afternoon.
He turned heads when he reported to fulfill his civic duty and was picked alongside about 80 others for consideration to hear a 2016 attempted robbery case, reported the New York Daily News.

When his name was called out in the 15th floor jury room other citizens present reportedly craned their necks to get a look at the namesake to the president.
According to the Daily News a few even chuckled upon hearing his name.
President Trump’s oldest son sat on a hallway bench and fiddled on his phone throughout most of the morning as potential jurors were called in for questioning.
At one point a few women sat next to him and struck up a conversation with him. Witnesses also told the New York Post that he snapped selfies with a few waiting prospective jurors.

Trump Jr was dressed more casual than usual for a day of fulfilling his civic duty, in a pink button up, gray quarter-zip and khakis.
He arrived at New York Criminal County Court building in downtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning, flanked by Secret Service who lingered in the area throughout the day.
During his hour-long lunch break he headed to Forlini’s, a favorite spot in the area, and ordered chicken parm, a waiter told the Daily News.
When he left he told reporters his meal was ‘very good.’
Before he was dismissed someone at his office told TMZ Don Jr was ‘happy to be there.’
