AI won’t stop! Drake is victim of MORE fake songs generated by artificial intelligence – despite record company trying to put a stop to them
Drake has fallen victim to more songs created to sound like him via artificial intelligence.
It comes after Drake’s, 36, record label already fought to wipe the internet clear of one viral AI song that was using his likeness.
Now, two more have appeared on the world wide web across multiple platforms, including TikTok and YouTube.
One track is called Winters Cold and another is titled Not a Game.
Earlier this week a song called Heart On My Sleeve was shared on social media, imitating both Drake and his fellow Canadian music artist The Weeknd, 33.

The music borrows from the familiar cadence of the longtime rapper/singer-songwriter, complete with a catchy instrumental backing.
Although there are spots in the music that don’t quite capture the nuances of the real Drake’s vocals, the music is pretty convincing.
One user on YouTube pointed out, ‘You can tell though the AI says things and delivers certain lines a way that Drake normally would not…. but still this is some scary sh*t.
‘Because you know at some point they will combine these AI with the robot prototypes that are out there. Next thing you know… machines taking over.’
Earlier this week an AI-generated song featuring the simulated voices of Drake (born Aubrey Graham) and The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) was pulled from streaming services by Universal Music Group for ‘infringing content created with generative AI.’
The track went viral last weekend and by the time it was removed on Tuesday afternoon it had been streamed 600,000 times on Spotify and received 15m views on TikTok views and 275,000 on YouTube.
Heart On My Sleeve is believed to have been created using AI programming trained with artists’ music, something which UMG said ‘represents both a breach of our agreements and a violation of copyright law.’
There has been speculation that the song was a publicity stunt by a startup tech firm.
It was originally posted on TikTok by a user named Ghostwriter977 and shared on streaming platforms under the name Ghostwriter.

Unaffected: Drake seemed to be unbothered by the pop-up AI songs as he posted to Instagram on Tuesday

The music label told Billboard magazine that the viral postings ‘demonstrate why platforms have a fundamental legal and ethical responsibility to prevent the use of their services in ways that harm artists.’
They added that the episode ‘begs the question as to which side of history all stakeholders in the music ecosystem want to be on: the side of artists, fans and human creative expression, or on the side of deep fakes, fraud and denying artists their due compensation.
‘We’re encouraged by the engagement of our platform partners on these issues – as they recognise they need to be part of the solution.’
It is not the first time Drake has been dragged into the world of AI.
Just last week, he criticized an AI-generated version of his voice used in a song by rapper Ice Spice, as he wrote on Instagram ‘this is the final straw AI.’
A number of users speculated about who might have created the artificial music, including AppSumo’s Mitchell Cohen.
Cohen called the AI track ‘a genius marketing stunt,’ adding, ‘Not by Drake, but by a SaaS (software as a service) startup.’
Cohen traced the origins of the track to a TikTok account with the handle @ghostwriter977.
