Drake took a break from his 14-date Australian tour on Valentine’s Day to serenade fans during a private listening party at Pitt Street’s Caterpillar Club in Sydney.

The Canadian rapper, 38, scaled down his Anita Max Win run for a tiny bar gig on Friday, performing songs from his new album Some Sexy Songs 4 U.

He sang alongside his collaborator PARTYNEXTDOOR as he hosted a celebration for his new record, with only a select number of guests invited to enjoy it.

Images and videos shared to an Instagram fan page account saw the hitmaker getting behind a DJ deck before later performing five new songs for his followers.

As the impromptu set came to a close, Drake addressed his raving audience members: ‘I want ya’ll to enjoy yourself tonight. Get drunk tonight.

‘Happy Valentine’s Day. We love you. We just wanted to sing to you for a little bit. It wasn’t a real concert. You got to come to the show if you want to see a real concert.’

It comes after Drake made an Aussie fan’s dream come true amid his Australian tour last week.

The rapper was on stage at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday when he singled out concertgoer Sally Soumaya for some special attention.

Mother-to-be Sally shared a video to TikTok on Thursday which showed Drake revealing the gender of her impending newborn.

The video began with a photo of Sally and a friend standing in front of the venue, holding a sign which read: ‘Do my gender reveal.’

The call-out struck a chord with Drake, who happily obliged the fan request.

‘This girl has a sign right here that says, “Do my gender reveal,”‘ Drake said to the audience between songs.

As Sally passed a piece of paper detailing the baby’s gender to the front of the stage, Drake could not contain his excitement at being a part of the announcement.

‘This is life-changing. Oh, what do we think it is?’ he asked before thanking Sally for letting him make the big announcement.

‘It says right here that it indicates that the fetus is a mini Drake,’ he said revealing the mum-to be was going to have a baby boy.

He went on to reveal he would be giving the new mum a financial head-start.

‘Sally’s having a boy and Sally’s getting $50,000 AUD from me,’ Drake added to rapturous applause from the crowd.

Captioning the video, Sally revealed the experience would live long in her memory.

‘I will never recover from this! Drake does my baby’s gender reveal,’ she wrote.

The post was met with a flurry of comments from followers with many suggesting Sally won’t have any trouble choosing a name.

‘I feel like his middle name gotta be Drake,’ one follower commented.

Another chimed in with, ‘Generational fumble if you don’t name him Aubrey,’ referencing the rapper’s given name Aubrey Drake Graham.

A third agreed: ‘Can’t wait to meet baby Drake! Most insane experience.’
