Drake slams Pusha-T in diss track after rapper slams his ‘ghostwriter’

Less than a day after the release of Pusha T’s album on Friday where he dissed Drake’s use of ghostwriter, the Toronto rapper dropped his own diss track and even sent an invoice of $100k for ‘promotional assistance and career reviving.’

Pusha T’s ‘DAYTONA’ includes a song called ‘Infrared’ that takes shot at the 31-year-old rapper and ‘Quentin,’ his alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller.

‘Your hooks did it/The lyrics pennin’ equals to Trump’s winnin’/The bigger question is how the Russians did it/It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin,’ the 41-year-old rapper states in the song.

In response Drake dropped ‘Duppy Freestlye,’ a rebuttal calling out the hypocrisy in Pusha T’s song considering the work Drake said he did for Kanye West.

‘So if you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple of Vs,’ Drake chimed, ‘What do you really think of the n***a that’s making your beats?’

‘I’ve done things for him I thought that he never would need. Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me. I pop style for 30 hours, then let him repeat.’

‘It’s gonna be a cruel summer for you,’ he raps. ‘I told Weezy and Baby ‘I’ma done him for you’

Soon after the release of 'Duppy Freestyle,' Pusha responded on Twitter with a link to the song and a request to 'send the invoice for the extra 20' in reference to a line in Drake's song claiming that he is making the rapper relevant

The beef between Drake and Pusha T dates back to 2016 when Drake released ‘Two Birds, One Stone.’

There he mocked Pusha T’s history drug dealing and said: ‘But really it’s you with all the drug dealer stories. That’s gotta stop, though. You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo. If you ask me though, you ain’t lining the trunk with kilos.’

It was a point Drake would revisit in ‘Duppy’ when he added: ‘You might’ve sold some college kids some Nikes and Mercedes. But you act like you sold drugs for Escobar in the ’80s.’
