An amusing video has emerged of a driver awkwardly trying to squeeze a car through a garage door at an odd angle.

The driver then reverses and tries to manoeuvre through the open garage door again.

It all seems to be going well until the back of the vehicle catches on the wall.

But instead of reversing once more, the motorist scrapes the car through the hole while the person filming says: ‘No, no, no’.

Social media users were quick to respond to the footage, which was published today on Facebook, with one writing: ‘It’s painful to watch!’

Others said: ‘How do these people get their driving licence?’ and ‘It can be done if you know how to drive & manoeuvre your vehicle.’

Another wrote: ‘If you drive like this get off the road now!’

Yet not everyone was critical of the driver, with some praising their determination: ‘Persistence always wins, great job!’

It is unclear where or when the footage was taken.
