This is the shocking moment a fight between rival gangs breaks out on a London street.

The video, taken yesterday morning at around 3.30am, shows men throwing punches on the pavement as a woman screams.

Drivers then become involved in the violence by driving into each other before ramming an individual against the wall.

The fight took place on Boundary Street in Shoreditch, an area of London known for its trendy bars and restaurants.

The person who took the video said: ‘It’s a street battle this happens most weekends in Boundary Street.’

In the footage, filmed at a distance from a window in the street, around four or five youths can be seen grappling and throwing each other on the floor.

Punches are thrown as the fight breaks into small factions while a woman keeps screaming: ‘Stop!’

The sound of glass smashing can be heard before a car deliberately drives straight into the front of another one, narrowly missing the fighting youths on the road.

Another car pulls up and the passengers then get out and join the melee.

As the violence appears to be coming to an end, one of the cars then turns sharply to the left and rams an individual, pinning him against a brick wall.

The various fighters then flee in different directions and escape in cars. 

The Metropolitan Police told MailOnline they were called to the scene at 4.08am but by that time everyone was dispersed and no arrests were made.
