Drunk man launches vicious attack on a woman in China

A drunk man was caught on camera viciously attacked a woman in the street in east China last week.

Footage showed the man body-slammed a woman onto the floor and kicked her in the face numerous times.

The assailant was detained by local police and was found to have records of similar offences in the past.

According to The Paper, the man, surnamed Lv, was chasing a woman on the street of Yangzhou in Jiangsu Province at night on April 7.

It was believed that the two people did not know each other.

Footage emerged capturing the moment the woman was thrown to the street by the drunk man.

She can be seen sitting on the floor and looking up at the man.

However, the drunk man suddenly kicked her in the face three to four times.

The woman reported the police immediately.

Police officer Tang Fuyuan of Hangji Bureau told The Paper that the woman was bleeding in the face when he arrived the scene.

‘She said the assailant was at the front,’ said police officer Tang.

Mr Lv denied the accusation when he was taken onto the police car.

‘I didn’t do it, it’s not me!’ Mr Lv told the police.

However, the police reviewed the security camera footage and confirmed Mr Lv as the assailant.

They also found Mr Lv had four records of detention due to ‘picking quarrels and provoking trouble’ in public in the past years.

Mr Lv is now detained in the police station.
