Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson reveals she has split from Austin North after four months

Sadie Robertson and Austin North have reached the end of the road together.

‘We broke up,’ said Sadie, who shot to fame on Duck Dynasty, adding: ‘He’s an amazing guy and I wish him all the best.’

The 21-year-old, who dated Disney Channel sitcom star Austin for four months, insisted to Us Weekly: ‘We’re friends. It just didn’t work out.’

She revealed: ‘He actually just texted me the other day and said he was thinking about me … and I think that’s beautiful. That’s how it should be.’

Sadie is ‘looking for somebody who is the same way where things just matter and that faith is the most important thing in their life and they can be passionate about the things that we get to do and that’s an important quality.’

The Louisiana-born reality star, who professes to not ‘necessary have a type,’ is looking for ‘purpose’ in her next romance.

Sadie, who starred on Duck Dynasty since its start in 2012, is the daughter of Willie Robertson, the CEO of duck call brand Duck Commander, the focus of the show.

She also appeared in the Christian movie God’s Not Dead 2 and was – with hoofing partner Derek Hough – the runner-up on season 19 of Dancing With The Stars.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati-born 22-year-old Austin came to prominence on I Didn’t Do It, a sitcom that ran on the Disney Channel from 2014 to 2015.

He has a guest role as a character called Oz on the teen sitcom All Night, which dropped its first season on Hulu in May of this year.

Austin had slid into Sadie’s DMs on Twitter in 2016, and though they got each other’s numbers, they never wound up meeting, so the matter seemed kaput.

‘Almost two years have gone by and I was in L.A. for my book press and my friend said she wanted to set me up with someone … to my surprise, it was Austin!’ she dished to Entertainment Tonight this spring.
