A former Penrith Panthers reserve grade player accused of indecently assaulting a woman at the Coogee Bay Hotel has squirted a photographer with water as he arrived at a Sydney court.
Liam Coleman, 23, has pleaded not guilty to aggravated indecent assault in company and indecent assault and is facing a hearing in the Downing Centre Local Court on Monday.
At the time of the November 2018 incident Coleman was a reserve grade player for the Panthers but left the club after he failed to secure a full time contract in 2019.

Also charged is former South Sydney Rabbitohs prop Zane Musgrove, 23, who faced court alongside Coleman on Monday.
He has pleaded not guilty to aggravated indecent assault in company, indecent assault and common assault.
The woman behind the allegations previously told a court that Musgrove pulled her towards him and kissed her “aggressively” three or four times over about 10 minutes while standing in a bar at the Coogee Bay Hotel in November 2018.
The woman told the court Coleman, who was standing nearby, then turned towards her, “launched forward with both his hands and put them on my breasts”.
She says Musgrove grabbed her breast briefly, and later thrust his pubic region into her hip.
Under cross-examination, the woman previously agreed CCTV appeared to show her approaching Musgrove.
As Coleman arrived at court on Monday, accompanied by a large group of supporters, he used a water bottle he was carrying to squirt water at a photographer in front of him.
