AFL superstar Dustin Martin is continuing to expand his interests outside footy with a fitness app tipped to be his latest off-field endeavour.
The Richmond Tigers player, who signed a contract extension with the club in 2017 worth $1.1million per season, is set to help others to keep fit and improve their sporting performance with a range of videos and tutorials available via the app.
A trademark application was filed earlier this year for ‘Drip by Dustin Martin’, covering services including video-on-demand, coaching services for sporting activities, personal trainer services and in-person learning forums.
There will also be physical fitness training services and gymnastic and yoga instruction, according to the filing.
The company behind the application is Drip Fitness. Martin is a shareholder of the company and his manager Ralph Carr is a director, the Herald Sun reported.

Carr previously told the publication 29-year-old Martin was using his national profile and lucrative sponsorships with Bonds and Nike to set up a post-footy career, likening him to some of global sport’s biggest names.
‘(He is) not only one of the best players that has ever played the game, he is probably the most bankable sports brand in Australia,’ Carr told the Herald Sun.
‘I always thought with the right support and guidance he would become Australia’s Michael Jordan or David Beckham.’
Martin has also recently gone on a property spending spree splashing $14million in trendy Melbourne suburbs as he invests some of his AFL salary into property.

The suburb, close to the Melbourne Cricket Ground where he has won three Norm Smith medals as best on ground in the grand final, was formerly an industrial hub but now has some unique properties on offer.
Martin and Carr, who are close friends as well as business partners, have started a company together and purchased the properties under that title.
They paid $2.915million for a re-designed warehouse on Butler Street, a narrow road just off the busy Victoria Street 2018.
They also bought two other properties worth $2.2million and $1.275million on the same road.
