Dyson Daniels’ mom steals the show at 2022 NBA Draft, becoming a social media sensation

The 2022 NBA draft took place on Thursday, which allowed basketball teams to pick their new players for next season – however, there was one person who completely stole the show, and it wasn’t a sports star… it was actually one of their moms.

Australian-born athlete Dyson Daniels’ mother, Brikitta Kool-Daniels, 54, attended the event – which took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York – with her son, 19, and it appears that all eyes were on her during the evening.

Brikitta – donning a low-cut white gown with a slit in the chest area and ruffles that showed off her long legs – quickly became a social media hit after she took to the stage with her basketball player son, sparking a slew of tweets from people who gushed over how stunning she looked at the event.

The internet was quickly flooded with messages about Brikitta, with some calling her a ‘MILF,’ a ‘smoke show,’ and a ‘snack.’

The 54-year-old kept her blonde looks in loose curls around her face, while her makeup looked subtle but fierce. For the after party, she switched into a hot pink strappy dress with a slit on one side.

Dyson, who hails from Bendigo, Australia, was drafted eighth overall and was picked by the New Orleans Pelicans.

It will no doubt disappoint her new legion of admirers, but Brikitta is, in fact, married. Her husband and Dyson’s dad, Ricky Daniels, is a former professional basketball star who played for the Bendigo Braves.

Dyson played with them for the 2019 season before joining the NBA Global Academy. He helped Victoria win a silver medal at the 2021 Australian Under-20 Championships.
