Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was left bloodied during the team’s Super Bowl parade on Friday as he was hit in the forehead by a beer can.

It’s unclear exactly how the executive was struck by the object, but a picture from the event showed him with a sizable cut on his forehead afterwards.

Roseman could be heard confirming that his cut was from a beer can as he spoke to local NBC 10 News.

Defensive end Josh Sweat then chimed in: ‘I laughed at him a little bit when it happened, and I know he’s mad at me,’ before clarifying that he was not responsible for his GM’s cut.

Roseman appeared to be OK as he was later photographed smoking a cigar.

Eagles Super Bowl hero Cooper DeJean was also left with a self-described ‘battle-scar’ – though it was his own fault.

Speaking to Fox 29 in Philadelphia, he explained how he hit himself with a ‘big a** can of Bud Light.

Nonetheless, the cornerback appeared to be in good spirits as he wrapped his interview and continued on the parade route.

The parade began on Friday in South Philadelphia, continuing towards Broad Street.

The route is then set to finish up in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the ‘Rocky Steps.’
