EastEnders’ Lola Pearce will be seranaded by her husband Jay Mitchell as he borrows a busker’s guitar to sing to her in some of her emotional final scenes.
The character has a terminal brain tumour and was recently given only months to live, with her final scenes expected to air later this year.
As she nears the end of her life, Jay takes Lola for a trip to the beach so they can spend some quality time together.
He spots a busker performing nearby and borrows his guitar so he can sing to Lola as they sit by the sea together.
Actress Danielle Harold was seen grinning from eae to ear as she and co-star Jamie Borthwic shot the heartwarming scene.

Danielle first joined the EastEnders cast back in 2011 and left the show in 2015 before returning four years later.
The soap star took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a heartfelt message of thanks to everyone who has helped tell Lola’s story.
The actress shared a snap of herself as Lola lying in hospital with a bandage around her head as she was comforted by Jay.
Alongside the photo, Danielle wrote: ‘Lola’s story has been a very hard one to tell and one that means so much to me and sadly effects so many people.
‘Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet historically only 1% of research is allocated to this devastating disease.
‘I would like to take a moment for everybody that has reached out to me and shared their experiences with me, I have read every message and hold all of your messages close to my heart whilst playing this story.
‘I have been blessed to meet the most incredible people and work with some wonderful charities along the way and I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for all your support advise and love ❤️’.
Alongside them in the heartbreaking scene were Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and his husband Callum (Tony Clay).
