Shoppers at supermarkets across the UK have been shocked to find bunny-shaped chocolates and Easter eggs four months early while doing last-minute Christmas shopping.

Lots of individuals spotted Easter eggs while they were out doing their last minute present shopping on Christmas Eve
Easter eggs have been spotted in store as early as December 12, with many users questioning why anyone would want a chocolate egg at this time of year.
One Twitter user’s mother presumably saved herself some money by buying Easter eggs in the sales earlier this year before gifting her children the discount chocolate on Christmas morning.
Co-op appears to be one of the first to chuck out the ‘old’ Christmas-themed chocolates in favour of Easter eggs, with one user from the Isle of Skye, Scotland, finding them in his local store.
WHSmith have also been quick to follow suit, with one store in Hove, East Sussex, stocking MaltEaster bunnies.
