‘One wrong move could result in disaster!’ Ed Sheeran ‘will set FIRE to the Brit Awards stage in dangerous performance… with fire marshals on-hand in case things go wrong’
Ed Sheeran will reportedly set fire to the O2 Arena’s stage while opening Tuesday night’s Brit Awards with a nail-bitingly dangerous performance.
The 30-year-old singer’s latest antic has called for fire marshals to be posted around the auditorium in case the stunt goes horrifyingly wrong, according to reports.
A group of top secret special guests are thought to be joining him, along with 30 dancers including aerial performers, a contortionist and men in lace dresses.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Set between two electricity pylons moulded into the shape of the iconic Brit statuette, the stage will be littered with fire burning from waste paper bins and there will be a laser spectacular.
‘Loads of amazingly talented dancers have been putting in the hours to rehearse for it because all of the pyrotechnics mean that one wrong move could result in disaster.
‘Ed will also pay homage to London with a projection showing the city’s skyline, but with a dystopian edge with barbed wire and discarded shopping trolleys used as props. It will be unforgettable.’
He last performed at the prestigious ceremony in 2018, and is keeping his fingers crossed to win Artist of the Year, Mastercard Album of the Year, Song of the Year for Bad Habits, and Best Pop/R&B Act.

Liam Gallagher, Grime megastar Dave, rap sensation Little Simz, and this year’s Rising Star award winner, Holly Humberstone, have been confirmed to perform in addition.
Although Plan B restrictions in England are set to be lifted next week, including no longer requiring COVID-19 passes at large scale events and mandatory mask-wearing, organisers of the BRITs have a number of requirements.
It comes after Ed submitted plans to build a burial chamber under the floor of the new boat-shaped church which is being erected in the grounds of his vast £3.7million Suffolk ‘mini-village’ dubbed Sheeranville.

New photographs show that the place of worship is currently under construction and is covered in scaffolding.
It could soon be joined by a burial zone which would be entered through a slab in the floor.
The latest plans mean the pop star could be buried in the grounds of his home in the village of Framlingham if the plans which have been submitted for the tomb are get the go-ahead from council officers.
Ed’s private place of retreat has been modelled with curved walls on the plan and in elevation, which give it a sweeping boat-shaped feel.
The burial chamber, which according to the plans would be at the back of the building, would measure 8.9ft (2.71m) by 5.9ft (1.8m) which is around the size of a double grave plot.
The Grammy winner, who has a net worth of £220million, originally failed to get permission for a chapel in his garden but in 2019 he submitted scaled down plans which were approved by his neighbours as well as the parish council.
