Edwina Bartholomew by Mandy Moore at Emmys red carpet

She’s the lovable Sunrise Entertainment reporter.

And over the weekend, Edwina Bartholomew flew to Los Angeles to report for the breakfast TV show at the 69th annual Emmy Awards.

However, the 34-year-old was left hanging on countless occasions, ‘snubbed’ by some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Reporting live for Sunrise, Eddie was first brushed by James Corden, Mandy Moore and Jane Fonda.

‘We’ve been snubbed by Mandy Moore, Jane Fonda, pretty chuffed about this list, and also James Corden,’ Eddie joked with Sunrise hosts David Koch and Samantha Armytage.

‘Guys I tried to ask him (James) about carpool karaoke a little bit earlier on. I did get a hi, so I’ll bring that to you later.’

And it didn’t seem to get any better for the star who was seen yelling across the arena live on air in an attempt to get an interview with English actress Claire Foy.

Top job! However, the blonde beauty did manage to scoop up an interview with Homeland’s Mandy Patinkin, but the conversation went as far as his breakfast order at Sydney’s Bill’s cafe

‘Can you have a chat for Australian TV, massive fans of The Crown,’ she said while the star continued to walk past.

‘What’s your order at Bills? Ricotta pancakes?’ she asked.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Eddie revealed the carpet was anything but relaxing.

‘The red carpet was absolute chaos,’ she said.

‘We were lucky to chat to Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Geoffrey Rush and Aussie director, Kate Dennis.’

And it’s not the first time the TV journalist has been snubbed at a red carpet event.

At Sydney’s AACTA Awards last year, Eddie was left red faced when Hollywood actor Mel Gibson, bluntly asked, ‘who are you?’

And earlier in the year when Prince Harry came to town, she again got lost in the crowd while trying her hardest to get his attention.
