Real Madrid have moved to the top of LaLiga after beating Elche 2-1, with Vinicius Junior found in fine form with a brace. 

Vinicius opened the scoring for the title challengers, with Mariano Diaz teeing up his team-mate with a first time lay-off to bury beyond Kiko Casilla smartly. 

His brace, which arrived on 73 minutes, looked to have wrapped up all three points for Madrid – only for Pere Milla to strike late on and set up a grandstand finish.
