In capitals, the poster read: ‘Missing.

‘She is black and fluffy with orange/green eyes. Wearing a black, white and gold collar with bell.’

Wiping her eyes in sorrow, the Big When I Was Little singer kept a pair of scissors and a ball of string handy in a military-style khaki mini bag to tie her posters around lamp posts and trees.

The Indie pop star opted for a casual look, having thrown a grey leotard on without putting her legs through it, but instead sporting a pair of khaki green combat tracksuit bottoms.

Accessorising her look with a black zip-up hoodie, which she tied diagonally across her torso, Eliza donned a pair of Nike Huarache trainers in the same colour.

The Pack Up singer, who tied her caramel curls into a messy bun for the outing, climbed up a brick wall to reach for an unknown object in the trees, having temporarily shelved her can of drink.

The Westminster-born performer shot to fame with debut single Skinny Genes in April 2010, which was quickly followed by UK top 5 hit Pack Up.

She previously discussed her meteroic rise to fame and her battle for control with record bosses with Wonderland Magazine, saying: ‘I was 17 when I got signed and swooped up into the industry side of things.

‘It was really fun and exciting, you know; we were hustling, we were doing this pop thing. But, I always found myself coming head to head with them, and feeling like I wasn’t being true to myself in one way or another.

‘In the end it wasn’t for me, I’m too controlling, and I want to be able to make music the way I want to do it,’ she concluded.
