Elizabeth Olsen accused of LYING when asked if Danielle Haim was a good actress in Licorice Pizza

Awkward! Elizabeth Olsen accused of LYING when asked if Danielle Haim was a good actress in Licorice Pizza… as she squirms taking lie detector test

After bravely taking part in Vanity Fair’s lie detector test series, Elizabeth Olsen was left red-faced when one of her answers turned out to be false.

The 33-year-old WandaVision star was questioned about her old high school pal – musician Danielle Haim – who had a small role in the Paul Thomas Anderson movie Licorice Pizza.

Asked whether she thought she was a better actress than Danielle, 33, the Doctor Strange star first answered honestly as she said laughing: ‘Yeah. Sorry Danielle.’

‘She’s lying!’ Elizabeth Olsen squirms in embarrassment as she is BUSTED on lie detector test when asked if Danielle Haim was a good actress in Licorice Pizza

However, when pressed further over whether she had seen the film and liked Danielle’s performance, the lie detector went off.

‘No, I loved the film, and I thought she was great in it. But she didn’t have to do much,’ Elizabeth said.

The man operating the lie detector then cut in saying: ‘She’s lying about the film.’

Trying to figure out whether she was lying about if she liked the movie or Danielle’s performance, Elizabeth said: ‘Oh, I did like the film. Or about her acting? Oh yeah, she was fine.’

As she grew more uncomfortable with the lie detector claiming she was lying, Elizabeth added: ‘F***, man. Sorry, Danielle. You did great. I don’t know what’s happening. It’s so uncomfortable right now.’

The Olsen family member has previously revealed that she has known the Haim sisters since high school, and says she once thought of Danielle as the ‘coolest person on Earth.’

To be fair to Elizabeth, Danielle only had a very minor and supporting role in the film, which was anchored by her sister Alana’s fantastic debut performance.

Elizabeth started off by saying she was ‘intimidated’ by Danielle in high school saying ‘she was always that cool.’

When asked if she still thinks she’s the coolest person in the world, Elizabeth responded: ‘She’s a very talented person and has a very cool vibe. I think if I wanted to be a rock star one day I would wanna grow up to be like her.’

Elsewhere in the funny video, Elizbeth was quizzed over everything from whether her twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were really just one person, to who is the best Chris.

When refuting the conspiracy over her sisters, the actress said she knew they were twins because: ‘My mom gave birth to both of them, C-section style. And there are lots of photos since forever that proves there’s two of them in these photographs.’

Elizabeth also revealed that she does not use any form of social media, including WhatsApp.
