Elle Ferguson on being compared to Elle Macpherson

She’s the fashion blogger turned beauty entrepreneur who is known for her endlessly long and lean legs.

And They All Hate Us creator Elle Ferguson says she is thrilled about being compared to another famous Elle – iconic supermodel Elle Macpherson.

‘To think people are comparing us is actually beyond,’ the 31-year-old told Daily Mail Australia during an interview to promote her new tan line, adding that her ultimate dream would be to collaborate with the statuesque star on a photo shoot.

Elle, who has recently launched her own tanning product The Elle Effect, says she has always admired the Aussie supermodel.

‘I have admired Elle since I was tiny… my mum and I would always buy the Vogues [magazines] with her on the front, so to think people are comparing us is actually beyond. The dream would be a [photo] shoot with both of us,’ the style guru gushed. 

The fashion blogger and international catwalk star are both known for their sun-kissed complexions, long blonde locks and endlessly long and lean legs.

Apart from a great fake tan, social media star Elle also revealed her health and beauty secrets.

‘I actually have just come off an amazing program with Eat Fit Food that really made me reconsider how I eat. I eat really clean. A smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch and then most likely fish or chicken with vegetables for dinner,’ she explained. 

And in terms of exercise, the Cosmopolitan Magazine award-winner ‘cannot live without Pilates and [trainer] Kirsten’ at Fluid Form in Sydney.

‘She [Kirsten] has an at-home program for when I’m travelling,’ Elle shared.

Macpherson, 53, rose to fame as a model of the eighties, and was later nicknamed ‘The Body’ after having graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue a record five times.

She went on to star on television, including a cameo on US sitcom Friends, and launched her own business empire, comprising of lingerie, skin care products and health supplements.
