Elle MATCHpherson, part II: Supermodel, 59, and partner Doyle Bramhall, 54, dress the same again as they don denim jackets and black sweatpants during stroll in London’s Mayfair – after rocking shiny gold puffer jackets in California

  • They even accessorised with matching beige high-top trainers and sunglasses

When you’re dating a supermodel, it’s only natural to want to dress your best.

But Elle Macpherson’s boyfriend, musician Doyle Bramhall, seems to have taken this to the next level – by wearing almost identical outfits to her.

The couple turned heads this week as they stepped out in London wearing the same get-up – from head to toe.

Elle, 59, and Bramhall, 54, both wore denim jackets and identical black quilted sweatpants.

The pair even accessorised with matching beige high-top trainers, bags slung across the body and large sunglasses.

The couple, who have been together for around nine months, looked relaxed as they strolled the streets of Mayfair – with Elle sporting a ring on her engagement finger.

A source said: ‘They looked happy, relaxed and were holding hands. She was wearing a ring on her engagement finger but it looked more modern than a traditional diamond ring.’

This is not the first time Elle and her boyfriend have played matchy-matchy with their outfits.

Earlier this month they wore similar gold lamé puffer jackets during an outing in Santa Monica, California.

The trend is not unusual, with psychologist Dr Nikki Goldstein saying harmonious dressing is a sub-conscious action which often occurs about six months into a relationship.

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears famously attended the American Music Awards in 2001 wearing matching ‘double denim’, and Victoria and David Beckham prided themselves on dressing alike in the early days of their courtship.
