Elle Macpherson: Inside supermodel’s very hippy launch for her WelleCo brand as she treats guests to sound healing, full vegetarian meal and strictly no booze

Elle Macpherson is back Down Under ahead of her 60th birthday next month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her wellness brand WelleCo.

The Australian supermodel, 59, who hasn’t been back home in four years, wasted no time making the most of her visit as she enjoyed all the luxuries she could get.

Getting in touch with her inner hippy, the businesswoman hosted a launch for her latest WelleCo product on Tuesday, serving only vegetarian dishes and mocktails.

Inviting several guests, including friend Pip Edwards, to her intimate dinner at Shell House Sydney, Elle wanted attendees to only enjoy her favourite foods.

Her vegetarian menu included wakame, cucumber with horseradish, and buttered whole wheat sourdough to snack on.

Then followed three courses ‘designed to share’ between guests, with the entrée including leeks with sour cream and feta, cucumber and red pimento peppers.

Main included coal roasted beetroot, mixed with grilled oyster mushroom and eggplant, with red Salanova salad and Brussels sprout as sides.

Finally, guests finished off with grapefruit granita and oat milk sorbet with hazelnuts, summer berries and dark chocolate for dessert.

Mocktails were circulated throughout the bar in accordance with Elle’s strict ‘no alcohol’ rule, while guests were treated to ‘sound healing’ sessions.

‘Sharing sound medicine for inner peace, beauty and wellbeing,’ Elle captioned a photo she shared to Instagram of bowls sitting beneath a microphone.

The woman of the hour herself took to the stage to thank everyone for joining her during the launch of her latest hot chocolate WelleCo product.

‘Thank you for coming today and supporting us,’ she said as she sat with former Sunrise anchor Melissa Doyle.

‘Some of you are new to WelleCo. Some of you have been around since inception, and some of you have been following me since my inception almost.’

Following her bizarre, luxury launch, Elle, who has been showing boyfriend Doyle Bramhall her hometown, took a cruise in a MG4 XPower car, which was gifted to her to use temporarily while in Australia.

The model then flaunted her free lavish suite at the Crown Sydney, complete with a massive spa bath, sprawling skyline views and a private balcony to take it all in.
