And so it seems fitting that Elle ‘The Body’ MacPherson, 53, would aspire to own a painting as iconic as her famous physique, with the supermodel admitting her desire to receive David Hockney’s painting A Bigger Splash for Christmas this year.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the Australian beauty shared a photo of the 1967 artwork along with the caption: ‘Christmas wish list #Hockney.’

Fans immediately showered Elle with comments complimenting her aesthetic tastes, with one writing: ‘Yes, on mine too!’
However, it seems unlikely that artwork’s current owner- the Tate gallery in London- would be keen to part with the piece any time soon.
While the sale price of Elle’s favorite painting is unknown, a similar Hockney painting named The Splash sold for £2.9 million at Sotheby’s in 2006.

Elle follows this with a ‘daily dose’ of her wellness powder, The Super Elixir powder – which contains 45 bio-live nutrients to ‘support all eleven systems of the body’ – before she works out.
Throughout the day, the model said she’s a fan of filtered water, herbal teas and her own homemade turmeric tea.
‘[This] is a concoction of turmeric powder and hot water with a large coriander sprig on top,’ she explained.
Elle added that she has also managed to swap her double espresso habit for a ‘big green vegetable juice’.
