And Monday was no exception for Ellie Goulding as she stunned in a £3,400 black puff sleeve double-breasted trench coat as she stepped out in New York. 

The singer, 35, commanded attention in the chic Carolina Herrera belted ensemble as she powered her way through the Big Apple’s streets. 

The Love Me Like You Do hitmaker oozed confidence as she placed her hands in her pockets during the outing.

She teamed the look impeccably with a pair of leather boots and donned a pair of black shades while keeping her accessories to a minimum. 

The songstress had her luscious locks in a brushed out wave for the chic look, as it hung behind her ears.

Her outing comes after she took to the stage for a performance following an appearance on BBC’s The One Show last week.

She put on an energetic show as she performed her new song Easy Lover outside Broadcasting House in London the midst of her promotional trailer.

Elsewhere, the Brit Award winner told her fans via her mailing list that her new music was a ‘long time coming’ and that it had ‘many lives’.

The previously released remix track saw critically acclaimed and renowned DJ and producer Four Tet take the original song.

And then put his dark electronic spin on it by turning it into a pulsating club banger that slowly builds to a momentous finale.

The new remix follows Four Tet’s Mango Feedback and Watersynth tracks that landed earlier this month.

Easy Lover which features Big Sean and was produced by Greg Kurstin first arrived in July.

Ellie has been balancing motherhood and her successful singing career. 

She recently shared a rare photo of her son Arthur, 16 months, as she doted on her baby boy while carrying him in a hip seat waist belt.

The star – who shares her toddler with her Eton and Oxford-educated art dealer husband Caspar Jopling, 30 – posted the snap to her Instagram Stories.

She showcased her off duty style in the snap, which showed her strolling along in wide-leg white jeans and a mustard coloured jacket boasting oversized sleeves.

Little Arthur looked adorable in soft blue trousers and a plain white long-sleeve T-shirt, while wearing grey socks. 

Ellie’s sweet post comes amid her recent return to the music scene after a career break to raise her son. 

Ellie’s last release was 2020’s Brightest Blue and featured the songs Worry About Me, Power and Slow Grenade.

The singer was due to take the album on tour, but was forced to delay her plans due to the Covid pandemic.
