He recently admitted filming sex scenes with his stunning wife Elsa Pataky for their film 12 Strong was uncomfortable.

But Chris Hemsworth, 34, had no problem getting tactile with the bikini-clad Spanish beauty, 41, during a sun-soaked beach outing in Byron Bay on Monday.

The Thor star couldn’t resist copping a cheeky feel of the actress’ pert derrière as they locked lips while exploring the rocky coastline of the south eastern town.

Wearing her golden tresses slicked back off her face, she appeared to go make-up free to show off her striking features.

And while her swimwear was understated, Elsa made sure to add flair through her accessories.

The blonde bombshell rocked a chic gold layered pendant necklace and rocked several coloured bangles around her wrist.

Chris and Elsa, who married in 2010, were also joined by their close friend Matt Damon – who has been holidaying with them over the long Easter weekend.

The couple are settled in Byron Bay with their three kids – twin sons Tristan and Sasha, three, and daughter India, five.

Chris recently admitted he struggled at first to convince Elsa that moving Down Under was a good idea.

He said he knew the 41-year-old model would find it ‘hard to leave’ if he could just manage to show her the sights of Byron Bay – a place he said feels like a ‘constant holiday’.

‘I just needed to show it to her. I just needed to bring her here and then it was hard to get her to leave,’ he told BW magazine.

He explained that Los Angeles could feel ‘suffocating and overwhelming’ as everyone they met was in the showbiz industry.

Chris continued: ‘Living here, or anywhere in Australia, people do all sorts of different jobs and professions.

‘And then there’s the people, the laid-back, warm, welcoming attitude is something my wife instantly responded to and that I wanted my kids to embody, I wanted my kids to be influenced by that sort of attitude as well.’

The actor previously told Channel Nine’s Today show that while he ‘loved’ living in Los Angeles, it never felt ‘like home’ in the way Australia does.

He added that choosing to live in a coastal town was similar to his upbringing ‘Which I think is essential to what we want to give [the children].’

It comes after Chris opened up about what it was like filming love scenes with Elsa when the couple played husband and wife on the film 12 Strong.

Appearing on breakfast TV show Sunrise, the 34-year-old said his wife would ‘boss him around’ on set.

‘We had about seven or eight years rehearsal time to play these characters,’ he said. ‘If we didn’t have any chemistry we’d be in trouble.’

The Thor star added that starring in the movie together acted as a mini-holiday ‘away from the kids’.

When it came to filming the film’s love scenes, Chris told Sunrise hosts Samantha Armytage and David ‘Kochie’ Koch that it wasn’t exactly the kind of environment they were used to.

‘How do you do a love scene with your own wife with a crew standing around?’ Sam asked the star.

‘Yeah, that’d be the big difference,’ Chris replied adding ‘the cameras and the lights… that we weren’t accustomed to. It’s not a usual setting for us definitely.’
