She swapped the razzle-dazzle of Hollywood for a more relaxed life in coastal New South Wales eight years ago.
And Elsa Pataky embraced the bohemian lifestyle to its fullest on Monday as she stepped out braless and barefoot with her husband, Chris Hemsworth, in Byron Bay.
The mother of three, 45, looked worlds away from the glamour of Tinseltown as she arrived at Byron’s local shopping precinct in a grey longsleeve and brown trackpants.

Elsa’s wavy hair was covered beneath a felt fedora hat, and she shielded her gaze behind oversized sunglasses.
She also wore a black face mask bearing the words ‘Poker Face’ – the name of her upcoming film directed by Russell Crowe.
Thor star Chris, 37, also went barefoot, and wore a beige T-shirt and black shorts.

He completed his look with a tan-coloured cap, sunglasses and a white face mask, and carried a small paper shopping bag.
The Hollywood couple, who have been married for ten years and share three children, have called Byron Bay home since 2014.
They own a $30million mega-mansion in nearby Broken Head.

Elsa previously revealed the secret behind her successful marriage to Chris.
‘It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way. It’s been ups and downs and we still keep working at the relationship,’ she told body+soul.
Elsa also admitted that after nearly a decade of marriage to the Avengers star things aren’t always ‘easy’, but the secret to their long-lasting love is ‘work’.
