Elsa Pataky returns to Byron Bay on a $87 budget airline after filming her new action film in Sydney

She’s married to one of Hollywood’s highest-paid stars, and has plenty of money in the bank herself.

But actress Elsa Pataky opted for a budget flight on Wednesday as she jetted from Sydney to Bryon Bay and wrapping production on her latest movie.

The glamorous wife of Chris Hemsworth blended in with other passengers as she checked into a Jetstar flight that cost her just $87.

Low-key departure: Elsa Pataky returned to Byron Bay on a $87 budget airline after filming her new Netflix action film Interceptor in Sydney on Wednesday

She kept a low profile in dark sunglasses as she boarded the flight at Sydney Airport.

Elsa, 44, dressed casually in burnt orange pants and a pink wool shirt, which she teamed with comfortable sneakers and several gold bracelets.

The Fast and the Furious star slung a colourful backpack over her shoulder and also carried her belongings in a black duffle bag.

She had previously been commuting from Sydney to Byron Bay via private jet with her husband while they both worked on projects in the Harbour City.

Meanwhile, Elsa just finished up her starring role in Netflix action movie Interceptor, which wrapped production last week.

Her husband, Chris, is producing the action film alongside Kathy Morgan, Christopher Mapp, Robert Slaviero, and Peter D. Graves.

Chris isn’t expected to act in the movie, instead settling for a behind-the-scenes role.

The couple moved to Bryon Bay with their children, daughter India Rose, eight, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, seven, in 2014.

They live in the suburb of Broken Head, a 20-minute drive from central Byron, in a mega-mansion estimated to be worth $30million.

They spent years renovating their home, which sits on 4.2 hectares of land, with the help of Sydney-based MCK Architects – but the development faced some resistance from locals, who compared it to a multi-storey car park or shopping centre.
