She admitted her boyfriend Josh Barker drove her ‘nuts’ as they raced to renovate a home in 12 weeks on The Block.
And Elyse Knowles has now admitted she was driven to ‘breaking point’ while competing on the popular DIY competition.
The 25-year-old model admitted her relationship with Josh, 29, was tested to the limits because they were constantly stressed and ‘running on adrenaline’.

‘It is pretty hard. Obviously you need to do it with a partner you love and can take. It is a stress,’ she said on The Today Show on Wednesday.
‘I think it is all about having a positive mind frame. If you get through things together as a couple, you are in it,’ she added.
‘It brings you to breaking point pretty much the whole time. You are running on adrenaline. If you can do it, go for it and give it all. Give it your all.’
Josh and Elyse were the youngest couple to ever appear on The Block and ended up pocketing a whopping $547,000.

The fan-favourites also scooped an extra $100,000, for getting the highest amount at auction out of all of the contestants.
Discussing life after the show, Elyse gushed: ‘It has been busy, but really loving it. 2017 was a busy year.
‘I am pretty sure 2018 is a little bit more hectic, but I am really loving it. We have just moved into a new house, so we are settled again.’
The couple, who snapped up a Melbourne property after living in a tent for three months, aren’t keen to get back into renovation just yet however.

‘We’re in the planning stage, which is the nice part,’ Elyse revealed. ‘You can sit down, relax, rewind.’
When host Karl Stefanovic asked if she and Josh would compete on The Block again, Knowles chuckled and said: ‘This is a tough question. I don’t know.
‘I would have to definitely think about it. I’m doing my own ‘Block’ series on my own home. That is enough for now.’
She hinted at exciting projects to come, revealing she’s heading to the US in May for meetings.
‘It is good to be broadened and to really push yourself outside your comfort zone,’ the blonde beauty said cryptically.
