Myer ambassador Elyse Knowles has attempted to further silence rumours of a rift with Jennifer Hawkins following claims the retail giant ‘replaced’ her with The Block winner ‘at a fraction of the price’.
Speaking with Sunday’s Stellar, the 25-year-old stunner said the former Miss Universe has always been ‘an inspiration’.
‘We’re in the Myer family together, which is nice,’ she told the publication.

‘Jen was a big inspiration to try and get (the same job) myself one day,’ Elyse told Stellar.
The praise comes mere days after Elyse said a similar thing to The Daily Telegraph at the Myer Spring Summer launch in Sydney on Thursday.

Jennifer, 34, took to Instagram earlier this month to make the announcement that she will retire as Myer ambassador in November, after Elyse reportedly inked a deal for $300,00 to replace her.
Rumoured to have left over an alleged ‘pay dispute’, the beauty spoke highly of the department store – writing: ‘Myer will always hold a special place in my heart.’
‘After 12 years it’s time to move onto a new a chapter in my life. I’ll be finishing up my role with Myer this November,’ she began.

And Jennifer conveyed she felt ‘extremely grateful’ to have worked with the ‘iconic’ department store for long.
