Emergency crews have rushed to the Movie World theme park on the Gold Coast after reports of a ‘workplace accident’.
Queensland ambulance officers are reportedly treating one patient at the park after the accident, understood to have taken place shortly after 8am on Tuesday.
Footage of the ongoing incident shows at least three ambulances, including a critical care unit, and two fire trucks at the park.
Movie World is owned and operated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks, which also has control of nearby Wet’N’Wild and Sea World.
Embattled nearby theme park Dreamworld, which has struggled financially since four people died on one of its water rides last year, is owned by Ardent Leisure.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Queensland Ambulance for comment.
