EMILY PRESCOTT: James Middleton’s luxury marshmallow business comes to a sticky end

James Middleton’s involvement in his marshmallow business Boomf has finally come to a sticky end. 

The troubled company, which charged £19.99 for nine personalised marshmallows, has released its final liquidation statement showing creditors will get only 14p back of every £1 they invested.

Perhaps James, pictured with wife Alizée, could ask his uncle Gary Goldsmith for advice. 

His recruitment company had a bumper year and Gary paid himself £361,000, more than double last year.

Fashion guru Isabella Blow’s widower Detmar is offering a cut-price wedding package for just £5,000 at his stately home next year to help with the cost-of-living crisis.

Disgraced DJ Tim Westwood made a short-lived attempt at a return to the London social scene when he rolled up uninvited to the VIP lounge at the opening of new roller-skating rink Flippers in London, brainchild of model Liberty Ross. When a bouncer identified Westwood, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, which he denies, he promptly left the event.

Another guest was also turned away, but this time there were red faces all round as it was a real VIP – Liberty’s mum Roxana! 

Happily, security guards quickly realised their mistake and let her in.
