Emma Thompson attends The Meyerowitz Stories UK premiere

She and now-husband Greg Wise welcomed the birth of their daughter Gaia in 1999, after she underwent IVF treatment at the age of 39.

And Emma Thompson proudly showed off her beautiful offspring – now aged 18 – when they hit the red carpet together for the BFI London Film Festival premiere of the actress’ latest movie The Meyeroqitz Stories.

Dressed in a vibrant pink trouser suit, the Oscar-winning screen star, 58, hugged her daughter as they walked the expansive red carpet together.

We are family: Emma Thompson was accompanied by her daughter Gaia when she attended the BFI London Film Festival premiere of her latest film The Meyerowitz Stories on Friday night

Her daughter put on a stylish display, posing for photographs beside her famous mother in a lacy semi-sheer black blouse with a peach front panel.

She teamed the elegant top with a flowing black miniskirt, which matched perfectly with her suede platform heeled booties.

Carrying a textured clutch bag, she included soft pink lipstick in her makeup scheme, while jewelled drop earrings added a touch of sparkle to her look.

Already a dab hand lighting up a red carpet, Emma teamed her bright two-piece suit with a scooped neck black top and open-toe black leather heels.

Wearing a pair of diamond chandelier earrings, she sported a blonde pixie cut which was identical to that worn by her daughter, who donned a darker brunette shade.

Also taking to the red carpet was Emma’s co-star Adam Sandler and his wife of 14 years Jackie, who wowed as she posed in a deeply plunging cream dress as she posed alongside her dapper comedian husband.
