Emmerdale SPOILER: Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor’s wedding ‘to go horribly wrong’

Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) wedding is set to take place next month, but it seems serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) is hell bent on making sure ‘disaster strikes’ on their special day.

A spokesperson for Emmerdale seemingly confirmed that Billy and Dawn’s ceremony – set to take place on Valentine’s Day – ‘might not go to plan’.

Next week, Billy tells Dawn that he wants to marry her ‘as soon as possible’ as he makes amends with his fiancée following an argument, prompting Dawn to share a ‘save the date’ post on social media.

However, Dawn’s post catches the eye of a very angry Meena, who is ‘hell-bent’ on revenge after Billy ended things with her for Dawn last month.

Ahead of the much-anticipated showdown, Emmerdale’s producer Laura Shaw teased to Digital Spy: ‘We’ve already seen Billy and Dawn get engaged on screen and I don’t think I’m giving too much away by telling you that their wedding is definitely going to happen this year.’

She added: ‘It does happen on the most romantic day of the year – Valentine’s Day – so there’s not too long to wait for their wedding.

‘But will it all go to plan? Is it going to be happy-ever-after for these two or will disaster strike? I suspect it’s probably going to be the latter.’

It comes after Meena, who killed both Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker, fled the village earlier this month.

The villain was picked up by a lorry driver after lying about her identity and saying she was fleeing after a fight with her boyfriend.

Meena ran into woods surrounding the fictional Yorkshire village after Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) hit her over the head in an attempt to stop Meena from murdering another victim.

As Liam searched the woods for Meena, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) phoned the police.

However Meena’s cunning nature meant she escaped both the law and the village, although it seems she’ll soon be back with a vengeance.
