England captain Eoin Morgan ruled OUT of remaining two T20 internationals against West Indies due to quadriceps injury – with Moeen Ali to lead the team as they look to fight back from 2-1 down in Barbados

Eoin Morgan has been ruled out of the rest of the Twenty20 series in the Caribbean through injury.

Morgan, 35, was forced out of the 20-run defeat to West Indies on Wednesday after failing a fitness test before the toss.

He will now sit out the weekend double header that concludes the five match campaign after investigation revealed a low-grade quadriceps injury in his right thigh.

Moeen Ali will continue to lead the team in his absence.
