England rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio is divorcing his wife of almost 20 years after repeated claims of cheating.

Dallaglio was part of the England side that won the 2003 World Cup, with the 52-year-old winning 85 caps for his country, while he also represented the British & Irish Lions on three separate tours during a glittering career.

The former flanker had two separate stints as England and since his retirement in 2008, he has worked as a pundit on TV, while he has also been widely praised for his charity work.

Dallaglio married wife Alice, who was a model, in 2005 after dating for almost 10 years and they have two daughters – Ella and Josie – and a son – Enzo – together.

However, the couple are now set to split after they reportedly attended the Central Family Court in London on Tuesday in an attempt to agree to the terms of their separation.

A source told The Sun: ‘They have been together a very long time and weathered a number of storms.

‘It is sad as they must have decided it is best now to go their separate ways.’

Despite their relationship lasting for a long period, it has been dramatic with both accused of cheating throughout their time together.

The warning signs were there before their marriage began when the couple split in 2003 after it was revealed Alice had cheated on Dallaglio with his friend Leon Butler.

However, they reconciled and married two years later, but Dallaglio was then embroiled in his own scandal.

The 52-year-old allegedly spent £10,000 at a London brothel which offered high-class hookers and cocaine, with it claimed at the time that the former rugby star had used his own bank cards to make payments inside the venue in Holborn.

News of Dallaglio’s visit emerged in 2020 during a trial where a gang were accused of of supplying prostitutes and Class A drugs, with the brothel having been raided and shut down by police a year previous.

He was not arrested and declined to make any comment on the matter, but he was interviewed under caution by police in the presence of a solicitor.

Dallaglio was also forced to close his business after being handed a winding up order over £700,000 in unpaid tax.
