England vs Croatia, LIVE: Nation counts down to World Cup semi-final TONIGHT

As England fans home and abroad prepare for tonight’s semi-final against Croatia, just three words are on the nation’s lips: It’s coming home.

Across the UK, pubs, bars, gardens and public parks are getting ready to host huge World Cup parties – with police warning fans not to ‘overstep the line’ with any celebrations in light of the excesses following Saturday’s quarter-final victory.

England kick off their penultimate game of the tournament tonight in Moscow at 7pm with a place in the final up for grabs. 

Defeat tonight will see England playing on Saturday against Belgium while victory will hand them a place in the final against France. 

Some 40,00 pubs will be packed with fans as the British Beer and Pub Association predicts bars will sell an extra 10 million pints worth £30 million to the economy. 

For those not going to a bar, thousands of fans will watch the crunch game on big screens in Hyde Park in London, as well as venues in Manchester, Bristol and Liverpool
