A manhunt has been launched after a 20-year-old man was killed in a ‘drive-by shooting’ on a street in Birmingham last night.

The man was killed in Goosemore Lane, Erdington, just before 7.30pm, sparking the city’s 22nd murder probe of the year.

Police said the man’s family have been informed.

No arrests have been made, and police have increased patrols in the area to reassure the community.
