Eric and Lara Trump celebrated their son Luke’s first birthday with plenty of cake and ice cream during the tot’s party at Serendipity 3 — a New York restaurant famous for its frozen hot chocolate.
While the little boy’s paternal grandfather, President Donald Trump, was unable to attend the bash, Eric’s mother, Ivana Trump, his grandmother, Marie Zelnickova, and Lara’s mom, Linda Yunaska, were all on hand to wish Luke a happy birthday.
Although Luke only recently started walking, he was gifted a pair of $60 Bauer ice hockey skates and $40 John Deere camouflage boots.

Both Eric, 34, and Lara, 35, took to Instagram to share photos from the party, including a heartwarming family selfie of just the three of them.
The mom posted a picture of herself feeding her only child cake and an equally precious picture of Luke with his great-grandmother Marie.

Large ice cream sundaes litter the tables, and at least two people ordered the Upper East Side restaurant’s ‘Frrrozen Hot Chocolate.’

Luke also had a celebration at his music class in honor of his milestone birthday. Lara and her mother were photographed poising with Luke in front of a blowup birthday cake in the music room.
In the snapshot, Lara is holding Luke under her arm, while Linda is sweetly grasping her grandson’s hand.
‘First birthday was a success!’ Lara captioned the images, which include pictures of Luke opening up his presents.
Eric also posted snapshots of Luke’s gifts, including a picture of his wife holding up Luke’s ice hockey skates.
The mom was also photographed helping Luke try on his new John Deere boots and watching him play with his toy tool kit.

While he was celebrating Luke’s birthday, his father hosted a Congressional Medal of Honor Society reception at the East Room of White House.
The president spoke at the event honoring recipients of the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military honor.
‘It is the ultimate tribute to American valor. You are the strongest, the bravest and the finest among us. See? My ego’s not that big,’ he joked.
All of Eric’s siblings appeared to be missing from the party. His sister Ivana Trump, 36, attended the White House reception with their father, while his brother Donald Trump Jr., 40, reportedly flew to San Francisco with his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle on Tuesday.

Tiffany Trump, the president’s 24-year-old daughter with his second ex-wife Marla Maples, is in her second year of law school at Georgetown University and was likely studying and attending classes in Washington, D.C. on her nephew’s birthday.
Meanwhile, Barron Trump, 12, was undoubtedly in D.C. with his father and mother, First Lady Melania Trump.

Before Luke’s party, Lara penned a heartfelt tribute to her son in honor of him turning one year old. As part of the post, the mom shared a sweet photo of little Luke sprawled on the floor while playing with a birthday balloon.
‘To my silly, dog-loving, always-smiling, drumming, two-toothed #SweetPotato: HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!’ she wrote. ‘You are loved more than you’ll ever know and I am the luckiest mom in the world. To many, many more!’
In the snapshot, Luke’s wild blonde hair is sticking straight up in a faux baby mohawk and he is giving the camera a gummy, open-mouth smile.
Although he is surrounded by toys, his one hand is resting on a bright yellow balloon while his other holds the red string attached to it.
The darling little boy is dressed casually in a beige tank top, striped shorts, and a baby kerchief around his neck.
Lara revealed on Instagram Stories that her little boy spent the morning of this first birthday watching his father on TV.
The proud wife and mother shared a snapshot of Luke wearing the hood of his sweatshirt over his head while staring up at the television.
