Erica Packer gifts her $4.3million Vaucluse house to sister Joanna – as she transfers property title over for just $1
Erica Packer, the former ex of billionaire James Packer, has surprised everyone by gifting her luxurious Vaucluse house, worth $4.3 million, to her sister Joanna.
The property transfer took place recently, with Erica transferring the title to her sister for a mere $1, according to The Sunday Telegraph.
Despite Erica splitting her time between Los Angeles, Aspen, and London, she had retained a 5% stake in the Burrabirra Avenue residence.
However, in 2019, she decided to transfer the remaining 95% ownership to her sister and brother-in-law, David Hunter.
Originally purchased in 2006 for $4.3 million by a company associated with James Packer, the lavish four-bedroom, four-bathroom house sits on a sprawling 487 square metres.

James, who was once ranked as Australia’s wealthiest person, had transferred the property into Erica’s name when they were dating.
The couple later got engaged and tied the knot in 2007.
Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t go the distance, as they separated in 2013, just months after settling into their stunning $70 million mansion in Vaucluse, named La Mer.

Despite their separation, Erica and James have successfully co-parented their three children, and their relationship remains amicable.
Recently, the Packer family spent some quality time in Sydney at James’s lavish $72 million Crown Barangaroo apartment.
Erica took charge of the apartment’s renovation, ensuring that its prior opulent aesthetics were replaced with something fresh and contemporary.
They were also pictured boarding Packer’s private jet in Sydney with their three children.
Erica married James in 2007, and they later split in 2013
