Erin Molan is accused of stealing players’ outfits at the Australian Open

Who wore it better? Erin Molan is accused of stealing Rafael Nadal and Grigor Dimitrov’s style at the Australian Open – and even she has noticed the similarities

She is covering the Australian Open for Nine’s Wide World of Sports.

And it appears that Erin Molan may be subconsciously taking fashion tips from the tennis stars playing at the tournament.

On Thursday, Erin’s WWOS director pointed out that she had ‘copied’ Rafael Nadal’s outfit from the 2019 final.

Bizarre: It appears that Erin Molan may be subconsciously taking fashion tips from the tennis stars playing at the Australian Open. On Thursday, she pointed out in Instagram that she’d worn a similar outfit to Rafael Nadal during the 2019 final

And after digging through the archives, she discovered he was 100 per cent right.

The journalist shared a side-by-side photo to Instagram of herself and the Spanish tennis player and they were indeed both wearing yellow.

This year, her director made a similar observation about Erin matching outfits with Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov.

He way be on to something, because they both have worn spotted jumpsuits and bright white sneakers at the Open.

Erin’s fans were obsessed with the comparisons, with one person commenting: ‘Definitely you wore it better!’

Another added: ‘Erin you crack me up!! Love that you represent us girls!’

Erin seems to be in a better place after what can only be described as a difficult 2019.

Last year, she experienced health problems and was also involved in a supposed feud with one of her colleagues.

In October, she broke her arm after falling down her staircase at home and spent 10 days recovering in hospital.

She later said on 2GB that the accident had happened in the middle of the night, as she was heading downstairs to fetch a bottle for Eliza.

The injury came at a particularly bad time for Erin, who was already facing a barrage of headlines due to her ‘feud’ with Andrew Johns.

Andrew, who is considered one of the all-time great NRL players, apparently found Erin ‘difficult to work with’ at Channel Nine and disliked her ‘giggling’.

‘He just doesn’t like working with her,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia at the time.
