As one of the most prestigious events in the British horse racing calendar continues into the fourth day, these ladies prove that there’s no need to save your glam frocks exclusively for Ladies’ Day at St Leger festival.
Donning their fascinators and heels for another day at Doncaster racecourse the women have forgone the traditional ladies day, held on the second day of the festival, and decided to add some glamour to the final day with an unofficial fashion parade of striking colours.
Today marks the climax of the festival as St Leger Stakes attracts some of the leading stables across the country to show in a roll of honour, including some of the most acclaimed horses in history.
Top class races including ‘the Portland Handicap’ will be held today, a competitive sprint as well as the Group 2 Champagne Stakes.
