Former Geordie Shore celebrity Marnie Simpson has claimed a cabin crew member stuck her finger up and ‘belittled’ her on a flight.

The 26-year-old, from South Shields, tweeted an image last night claiming she had been abused by a flight attendant on a TUI UK flight and that one member of staff even flicked her middle finger.

Last night, Ms Simpson tweeted: ‘Absolutely disgusting behaviour from @TUIUK on my flight today. I have never EVER been treated and disrespected by a “professional “ memeber (sic) of staff in my life who stuck her fingers up and belittled me with no valid explanation for their behaviour.’

Marnie Simpson posted this image on her Twitter account yesterday

Along with the photograph, she also posted this message condemning the actions of the flight attendant

She shared the message with two pictures, one of a male flight attendant and another which appeared to show a female cabin crew member appearing to have her middle finger pointed towards the camera.

It is unclear what happened in the lead up to the incident, but the reality television star has received a wave of support from her followers.

A spokesman for TUI UK said: ‘While we wouldn’t usually comment on individual customers, what we can say is that we will be reviewing the reports and the details surrounding this incident and taking any appropriate action with our crew.

‘At the same time, we will also be supporting the crew as we take a zero tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour of customers on board for the safety and security of everyone travelling with us.’

Ms Simpson left Geordie Shore earlier this year and has also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and Ex On The Beach.
