The hunt is on to track down gutless thugs who bashed an ex-serviceman with his golf clubs during a violent home invasion.
Christopher Holland arrived home from his evening walk in Silver Sands on Western Australia’s southwest coast at around 7.30pm on Wednesday night when he was confronted by two armed intruders in his bedroom.
He was brutally attacked several times with his golf clubs before the thieves fled with a watch, a mobile phone, headphones and keys.

‘They can be replaced, it’s your dignity that’s hard to get back,’ a shaken Mr Holland, 57, told 9 News.
The violent attack was all over in under a minute.
The former navy engineer was left battered and bruised with cuts to his face and arm, sore teeth a large bruise on left hip and swollen bumps to his head.
He was taken to hospital and was discharged later that night.
It’s the second time Mr Holland has been attacked in his home and has been left scared and emotional after his latest traumatic ordeal.
‘It lowers yourself to a point where is it your fault, what did you do to deserve it,’ he said.

Police are investigating the home invasion.
The two men were described as aged 18-25, slim build, both wearing black hoodies,7 News reported.
One is 170-180 centimetres tall and clean shaven, the other is described as fair-skinned.
Mr Holland now plans to beef up security in his home so thieves don’t strike a third time.
He had this message for his attackers.
‘It’s not the property that you take, it’s what you do to that person and that’s the hardest thing,’ he said.
