Exasperated parents have shared the most painful toys to step on – with miniature soldiers and LEGO pieces all giving them grief. 

Taking to Twitter, one father Dr. Adam B. Hill, from Indianapolis, asked his 10,000 followers to discuss the most painful children’s toy they have stepped on. 

He suggested a plastic fighter jet causes the most damage, yet social media users were keen to point out that LEGO pieces were considerably more dangerous.

With one replying: ‘Omfg LEGOs!! I despise those tiny bricks of foot torture.’

The post, which was liked 4,000 times and commented on by almost 1,500 social media users said: ‘Let’s start a thread to discuss the worst children’s toy to step on. I present ‘fighter jet’ for your consideration.’

Internet users were sent into a frenzy as many disagreed with the father, offering their own most dreaded toys to step on.

One wrote: ‘It’s always a LEGO piece. ALWAYS (extra points if you accidentally kneel on one).’

And another said: ‘LEGOs and our son had many different types. The most painful were the concrete ones.’

Plastic soldiers also proved a firm favourite with parents as they shared their irritation over the toy product. 

One wrote: ‘Plastic soldiers, especially when you unknowingly step on them while going down the stairs in the dark.’

‘Plastic army people,’ another insisted. ‘They guy on the far left will give you a hematoma with his gun.’

Other parents suggested that Barbie pieces were the toys people ought to try and avoid stepping on the most as well as Knucklebones or Jacks. 

One mother’s answer also proved to be considerably popular when she suggested that ‘anything that makes noise’ was dangerous to step on.

She explained: ‘You can get over any pain besides if that baby wakes up right after they go to sleep.’
