Exclusive for Mail on Sunday readers: A trip to Norway with TV cookery stars the Hairy Bikers

Exclusive for Mail on Sunday readers: A spectacular nine-day trip to the Norwegian fjords with TV cooking stars the Hairy Bikers

Everyone wants to sail along the majestic Norwegian fjords once in their lifetime, and there is no finer way to do it than on this magical cruise from Amsterdam on Holland America Line’s newest five-star ship, the Nieuw Statendam.

What’s more, you will be joined on board by Dave Myers and Si King, the hugely popular TV cooks best known as the Hairy Bikers.

The irresistible duo are huge fans of Norway, having toured the country’s west coast on their epic 5,000-mile journey for the BBC’s Hairy Bikers’ Bakeation.

Stunning scenery: A Holland America Line cruise ship on the Geirangerfjord in Norway

Your exclusive nine-day holiday includes an overnight hotel stay in Amsterdam, and the chance to discover the charming ports of Bergen and Alesund and the stunning natural beauty of Hardangerfjord and Geirangerfjord.

Known for their sense of humour and love of great food, wine and conversation, the Hairy Bikers will host a private cocktail party and cooking demonstration on board, as well as joining readers for a special Q&A and book-signing session. Readers booking this trip will receive a hard-cover copy of the pair’s latest cookbook, The Hairy Bikers’ British Classics, which you can ask them to sign during the cruise.

Dave and Si say: ‘The first time we discovered the wonders of Norway was when we filmed Bakeation back in 2012 and cooked on a ship going down one of the fjords. It was one of the most beautiful places we’d ever been to.

We always promised to go back, and now we are. The food and people are amazing – and Dave is longing to get back to his Viking roots. We sincerely look forward to seeing you on our Nordic adventure.’

Motorbike-loving cooks Dave Myers and Simon ‘Si’ King have written more than 20 cookbooks together as the Hairy Bikers, with their popular diet book, The Hairy Dieters, scooping a National Book Award.

They are a regular presence on TV screens in their own series and as special guests on popular cookery shows such as Sunday Brunch and Saturday Kitchen.

The Hairy Bikers have also toured the UK twice with their sellout live show Big Night Out.
