EXCLUSIVE: Trans teacher Kayla Lemieux shows up as a MAN on the first day of classes at new Ontario school

Trans teacher Kayla Lemieux has shown up to the first day of school presenting as a man.

The teacher, who went viral last fall for donning enormous, size Z-cup prosthetic breasts and a blond wig in front of students, ditched the getup for a black polo shirt and blue plaid shorts to go to work at a new school on Wednesday.

Security was on the scene as students filed into school for the first day of classes at Nora Francis Henderson Secondary School in Ontario, Canada. Questions had been swirling as to whether Lemieux would present as a male or female for the new school year.

DailyMail.com has spotted Lemieux without the prosthetics and wig and instead sporting a scruffy beard in recent weeks, leading many to wonder if it was all a hoax.

On Tuesday, school officials and police went to extraordinary lengths to protect Lemieux.

Lemieux drove to a Tim Horton’s coffee shop only blocks away from Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, and met with two female plainclothes officers from the Halton Regional Police Service.

As she did the week prior – and revealed in exclusive DailyMail.com pictures – Lemieux presented as a man.

Lemieux followed the officers to a nearby police station, where they spoke for about 30 minutes – no doubt reviewing the measures in place for Wednesday’s start of classes at the school.

Meanwhile, a trio of security guards contracted by the school board patrolled the sprawling property and monitored the entrances to its two parking lots.

At 9.15am local time, Lemieux arrived at the school escorted by an unmarked Halton Regional Police Service. She entered the building at the rear, where her shop class is located.

Security was even tighter on Wednesday morning as students filed into the school for the first day of classes.

In a letter to parents, principal Tom Fisher warned of ‘possible media interest onsite and protests’ when the school re-opens on Sept. 6 due to the hiring of an ‘experience educator’ who was ‘recently the subject of public attention, pertaining to their gender expression, while teaching at a school in a different community.’

Fisher did not name Lemieux but outlined precautions, including ‘having students enter and exit the building using assigned doors at entry and dismissal’ and ‘locking exterior doors during school hours, only using the front main doors during school hours.’

Fisher could not be reached for comment.

It remains to be seen if there will be protests after the Daily Mail revealed Lemieux showing up the week before school dressed as a man and sporting facial hair.

Lemieux kept mum when approached by a Daily Mail reporter and asked why she previously claimed the giant prosthetic breasts were real – and did not respond when asked if she would be teaching as a female or male.

The controversial teacher insisted the enormous breasts are real – a result of a condition called ‘gigantomastia’ – and said she is not transgender but intersex, meaning she was born with male and female sex organs. Lemieux admitted she had nothing from a doctor to back up his claims.

Police won’t say if there have been any threats against Lemieux or the school.

On Tuesday, a lone woman waited on the street outside the school. ‘I’ll be back tomorrow,’ she said, adding it was important to ‘protect the kids.’

Lemieux outraged parents and caused chaos last fall when photos circulated showing her working at Oakville Trafalgar High School.

Lemieux was placed on home assignment earlier this year after the Halton District School Board (HDSB) failed to implement a dress code that would have tamed the teacher’s cartoonish appearance.

The HDSB complained that its hands were tied due to the province’s Human Rights Code.

‘The HDSB recognizes the rights of students, staff, parents/guardians and community members to equitable treatment without discrimination based upon gender identity and gender expression,’ the board said in a statement. ‘Gender identity and gender expression are protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code.’

Lemieux’s new employer, the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board – for whom she previously worked while teaching tech at Ancaster High School – is not commenting, citing his right to privacy.

According to the Ontario College of Teachers, which certifies educators, ‘Kerry Luc Lemieux’ has been a teacher ‘in good standing’ since 2006.
